Bonjour to All!

It's been quite a summer for Anna Fermin's Trigger Gospel. From the Street Festivals of Chicago to the fields of France, TG kept their sunblock on and the music rolling. As many of you know they were in the studio with producer Jay Bennett, former member of Wilco, recording the follow up to their extremely popular 1999 debut, "Things to Come." Then traveled to Oslo, Norway to mix and master the songs with Jan Erik Kongshaug at the storied Rainbow Studio. Acknowledged as one of Europe's top facilities, Rainbow Studio, and the expertise of Jan Erik, have been utilized by everyone from Chick Corea to a-ha, Bill Frisell to Gilberto Gil to Pat Metheny. The band, needless to say, is excited about their new release, scheduled to debut on October 14. The new CD, titled "Oh the Stories We Hold" will be available through this website and at undertowmusic.com. Then nationwide on November 2.

Join Trigger Gospel as they celebrate their new release. Saturday, October 18, TG will celebrate the release of "Oh, the Stories We Hold" at their favorite FitzGerald's in Berwyn, IL. Buy your tickets early so you don't miss out. Like the last CD release party they threw for "Things to Come," this one's bound to be a hoot. Anna's mom & aunt's are going to be cooking up some of Anna's favorite Filipino foods and baked goods for the party, so come early so you don't miss out on that! First come, first served! There will also be raffle prizes and crazy balloons for all the kids, young and old. Food and fun are all included in the low ticket price. And of course, the music of Trigger Gospel will make the night complete, with some very special guests! Stay tuned for an update on who's going to be at the party with TG.

Trigger Gospel for the Holidays...join TG on December 19 at the Old Town School of Folk Music for a multi-cultural Holiday Affair! TG will feature holiday music, Trigger Gospel style, highlighted by some very special guests, as well as performances by various Filipino American musicians & folk dancers. Learn more about Anna's Filipino roots and join them in some holiday cheer. A festivity for the whole family! Tickets available through the Old Town School of Folk Music or ticketweb.com.

Anna Fermin performs at Symphony Center for the Marshall Field's Day of Music.
